Aim
NSG aims to provide sports & activities camps in Grampian communities while using profits to support local community projects, schools and provide free sports sessions to local children.
Sports & Activities
This is an example of what a week may look like at the Neighbourhood Camps. The activities listed here are not exhaustive, with activities adapting to weather and camp attendees.
The camp will run from 0900-1600 for core hour attendees and from 0800-1700 for extended hour attendees.
Beaton Hall - as well as an indoor hall - has access to fantastic outdoor facilities and scenic walking paths. We make full use of these facilities while also incorporating some outdoor education and arts & crafts..
The NSG Staff
The NSG Methlick camp is staffed by some fantastic people! Here is a short description of a few:
Brodie holds a degree in Sports Coaching alongside years of experience working in Aberdeen City schools. Brodie brings a deep repertoire of fun & engaging sporting activities and will be leading the camp as the main supervisor.
Diane teaches higher education childcare and has a long history of working with children of all ages. Diane may not be at the camp as often this Easter but is hoping to make visits when she can.
Katherine works as a marketer for an Aberdeen City school and has lent her fantastic knowledge base to the NSG camps. Katherine is very personable especially with younger children.
Morven & Eirinn will be back this Easter and are excited for another fun filled camp! Ask Morven about her Netball skills and Eirinn about her secret dance talent!
